This was really short, but free from Amazon. I didn't care for the "if you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with" philosophy of the hero, but it wasn't thrown in my face (first hand), so I didn't get too hung up on it. I thought he was sweet with the heroine. I thought she was pretty relentless with "tempting" him after he'd told her his decision and I thought it was kind of shitty of her to not respect his decision. But, it was entertaining. I thought some of the wording/phrasing was "odd" - had to read some things a few times to make out the meaning. I liked it enough to buy the second one in the series (On the Fence, I think).
