I enjoyed this a lot. I wasn't sure when I saw it deals with rape and I usually tend toward the lighter side, but I've read other books by this author and trusted that it would be okay. And it was. I have no first hand experience with rape and so have no idea if the responses are reasonable, but they seemed very plausible to me. Diana is a strong lady. And Gideon is just about perfect. Reading about them falling in love was very sweet and made me feel good. They definitely had problems, but they seemed like real problems. It just felt like a very real story.
