This was free on aRe as part of the Twelve Days of Christmas promotion. I need to stop downloading and reading books just because they're free.
This was somewhat a play on Goldilocks, it seems. In a small way.
Nothing earth shattering was revealed. It played out as expected. The characters seemed like cardboard cutouts to me. The book could've benefited some further editing. There were missing words, oddly structured/phrased sentences and some things were just confusing in places. Also, I found myself almost disliking the hero at the end of the book for his making the "run", anyway. He's hot on the tail of some other female when the heroine gets there just in time. Bullshit.
