This was okay. I've read the first and third in this series and went back to read this second one (it drives me crazy to read out of order, even if a series doesn't need to be read in order, but I didn't realize I was starting with the third book first!) I will read the fourth later. Anyway, I enjoyed this, but not as much as the first one. I liked the hero, Andrew. Laurel, the heroine, felt kind of lukewarm. I understood and could relate to her need for independence, even to the extreme, but I still didn't care about her too much.
